Hi Bill I called the distributors like I said I would and the results varied, but the bottom line is that I think the product is too new and a lot more work needs to be done to publicize it. Solgar gave me the names of two stores in the San Francisco Bay Are that carried their brand. I called one of them and they had no idea what I was talking about. These were hard core health and nutrition stores, not KMart or Payless. They weren't that helpful... but she did look in the catalog for me and told me that I could order DHA +EPA (another fish oil)... she really didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Then I was really disappointed when I called Your Life Vitamins and the woman said she knew what DHA was but they didn't carry that product. Finally I called Source, and this gentleman called me back. He told me that sales were good for Neuromins. I did not ask him to eloborate what good was... Then he gave me the names of five stores in my area that carried their products. I haven't called yet. But I asked him whether he knew it was true that DHA was good for pregnant and lactating women and he said Hmmm, let me check and then he proceeded to read this chapter fo r me which sounded like a Martek Press Release, I asked him where's that from and he said it was a Source Pamphlet... Then I started reading this book I have that is a natural therapy kind of thing and it had references for EPA and claimed that it was great for anything from inflammation to rashes... on the positive, maybe one day DHA will be there as well. On the minus side, there's a lot of work for Martek to do... Finally, to wrap up this rambling... I had my first baby, a daughter in 1995 and am thinking about another... and realistically, unless it was my DOCTOR who told me that I should be taking this DHA stuff... I realistically wouldn't do it. My daughter is fine and wonderful and more than anything I could have asked for... why mess with a good thing? I wonder what the women in your families have to say about that... Wu Ying
