Very often, the sell on the news occurs with stocks & it is not unusual after a run up. Thus, buy on the rumor, sell on the news is often employed by traders. LIKE MY FREIND DON!!!!! Unclewest has often correctly pointed out that Rambus' stock will react later to big news, although rarely does any stock do what is expected. That is why these threads light up on days when the stock is up 9 points with every one saying " what happened, what happened," & of course it was totally unexpected. That is why you might be saying " why o why are not we running today."
