Yep. The major issue is time. I'm calling it 30 days. Still have to clear HSR. I'm hoping that the QKTN/Mentor patent settlement took this into account. You have to count brokerage fees, so this is a place to cut corners: on RSND Waterhouse charged me $12 to buy the stock, and $25 to tender it. This trade is at Schwab. I hope that the tender is without charge, but I have to check.

I tried to do STER but it ran away from me. I believe it will likely go by September.
