Eric : There are a few mistakes in that article, I believe.

<<He said 0.18-micron chip production is on track for the fourth quarter,>>

CC: commenced production and wafer start on 0.18 and expect first revenue of 0.18 K7 in Q4.

<<adding that Athlons using copper interconnects to increase their speed will arrive by the end of 2000.>>

CC: Dresdon is doing extremely well, on track to have copper processor by the end of the year (99).

<<AMD tentatively expects 1 million K7s to ship during the 1999
calendar year.>>

CC: expect to pass 1 million k7 in aggregate in Q4. (Total 99 K7 > 1 million)

***************************************
I might add that:

Jerry made the point that 10s of K in Q2 and 100s of K in Q3 will be on 0.25 micron only.
