Yes it was. He just didn't want to, and nobody made him. You said he is 55, and he worked there 15 years, well, 25 years ago for sure there were respirators, so he could have worn them some of the time. Nobody else did, either, it didn't become popular until the lawyers started suing the companies, and then the companies started giving them to the workers to prevent lawsuits. So, I don't care what people say about lawyers, I am proud to be one.
