William. . .much appreciated warnings. 1/2 point moves are very rare, and would be unprecedented under these economic conditions in recent history. . .I expect 1/4 rise like everyone else. . . and the usual knee jerk reaction to it. . . even though it has long since been figured into the market.

To me, China is like a house fire. As a bull, I must continue building the house, rather than worry that it might catch on fire before it is completed. I think we will get some clues before they act.

As for spinning that roulette wheel. . uh. . er. . . those puts on EBAY. . .congrats on your win. As you know, my whole thing about making steady gains in market is related to playing traditionally risky near-term plays. . . but only when risk is at a minimum. As for the futures market. . it is way too risky for me. . . . guess I need the money too much. <g>

After the near-term Inet bounce. . .I am moving directly into the high-tech blue chips. . .to set up for their mid-July earnings reports. . .and the rally that will accompany them.

Still waiting for daytraders to figure out that the extremely low volume sets up huge volatility in many low float issues. . . for whatever reason. . nobody has put 2 and 2 together yet. We should see some tiny stocks popping daily this month. . . it disturbs me in a way that we are not. It makes me wonder why or how the volatility is NOT being exploited.

I sure would love a market that was manipulation free. . . but then, it probably would be more difficult to read. . . than when the Barneys get on CNBC and try to sell me on their analysis. . . then we go opposite. . .they make it so easy.
