Petz - RE: " Interestingly, all grades [at pricewatch] below or above 350MHz are way above $36" That isn't very good, especially when the vendors have updated their prices within the past 72 hours, which means they can sell the chips that cheap because then got them cheap, which probably means they got them from AMD's stockpile. Compaq AND HP each came out with a really cheap PC a few weeks ago based on the 350. The press release yesterday said more than 50% of the chips they made are >=400. At pricewatch, almost no one has updated their price on the 380 and 366. Unless AMD sold practically all their 350s to Compaq and HP, except for a few leftovers at pricewatch, I think AMD is sitting on quite a few worthless 350s. Anyone else have thoughts? The 350s could have come from during the production problems, but Kash guesstimated the fixed chips started coming in March, so I believe that throws that thought out. There could also be no demand currently for the 380 and 366, but we wouldn't really be able to know.
