It makes sense that you would try to make hay out of an
announcement about NT. Your dead-brain and Gate's brain-dead
O/S have an interesting canonical relationship.

Sorry, dude, you like totally missed the point of Charles'
post. Since intellectual subtlety and reasoning acuity is
not your forte, I guess I should explain it to you.

Charles wasn't thinking about the $70k price. On a
day when Forbes Mag publishes an article about SUNW taking
over the telephony market with 5-9's availability with down
time @5 minutes per year, MSFT is proud of the fact that they
have finally achieved 3 9's reliability at a single client-site.

What an endorsement: "It is certainly more reliable than
our mainframe" (!!!!).

Keep selling those PC's, James, I've heard Comp USA has a good
profit-sharing plan. Once you make employee-of-the-month
you may be able to brown-nose your way into a management
position.
