I'm not sure if your joking or if you are serious. But your comment has to be one of the most naive comments that I have ever read on SI. Nextcard is in the credit business period. There inventiveness with the plastic is unique and personal, and also facilitates alliances which is an important internet business strategy. Furthermore, credit is as American as apple pie. It's the American dream; it's reflective of our philosophy of life which is hopeful and optimistic. It eases the burdens and fills the gaps. Both people who need it and don't need it, use it. NXCD is an age old business implemented for the future. It will make money in spite of itself, and in and of itself. Long recommendation.
