Financials? Who cares! Let me get this straight...in your fantasy a major mining company comes knocking on Medinah's door and says...what? "We don't have to look at your books, we saw the House report, here's a wheelbarrowful of money." Please. The majors, being reporting companies, have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders, and they would never do a buyout without having the books audited. If they don't do an audit, they violate that responsibility, and they end up in court.
