The quality of the leaders we have is depressing.

George Will used to say : "An honest politician is a politician who, when bought, stays bought...."

We don't even have these around anymore.

We can put people on the moon, and achieve the most incredible feats with technology, and yet, have produced societies who can only manage to elect a bunch of TV ready populist crooks in office.

Good news is, at the speed and rate these guys are screwing things up, it shouldn't take too long until a more mature crop is in office.
