thanks august. It does appear that the drop was an over-reaction, particularly as judged by the opening gap on ckfr, but the resulting decline (admittedly the market was weak) is very discouraging. i have no current position in ckfr, having sold for a small loss at about 38 a few weeks ago. ckfr in the mid 20's is probably a good risk/reward situation. larry
