Dan, you wrote: It is reassuring to see that Franklin is making an attempt to reconcile a situation THEY created for their Customers.

I can understand your thinking the way you do, and as the past few days have indicated, I'm sure others feel the same way.

But if memory serves me correctly, it was clearly stated in the Notice that went out to everyone that a new plan was in the making and we would be hearing from IP in the next few days.

So I really thing that kinda blows holes in your stating that:
FWIW, I'd be willing to bet that this action was taken as a direct result of the displeasure expressed by patrons of this thread,on this thread, and the subscribers that were left to "hang in the balance".

I think that is one bet you would lose based on date stamps.

See, no flaming, just more spreading of negativsm based on assumptions rather than fact. You and everyone else has the right to post your opinion, but when it is misconstrued and can cause harm in the form of
misconceived notions that effect the stock, then I do take issue.

It wasn't wrong that John posted the 144 information, or that people questioned the infamous 800# notice. I myself, was interested in what news showed up on my TOL this morning, and yet when I went to read, it only would show FED FILING. I wondered what it was, then thought that it probably was the Financials showing up on EDGAR. When I saw John post what it pertained to, I was thankful that he posted it. But when everyone wanted to make a concerted effort to embellish it's importance, I'm sorry, it was a non event and I stated it as such. Then I attacked for attacking John, and Sipowitz, if you go back, I don't think I did. I was taking issue with the all the "when a CEO sells. it's important" and the sky is falling type of atmoshere that was being created.

Dan, you said that you find it appalling that these people were accused of being responsible for the decline. I'm sorry, that is not entirely correct. I feel they are responsible for creating an atomosphere of putting thoughts of "deceit, mistrust, and a pervasive negative slant" on a situation that was unwarranted. I immediately saw that blame, and finger pointing to the cheerleaders, the questioning of Franks integrity, and all types of other underhanded innuendoes filter into the free for all. No, you're right, they are not entirely responsible for the decline, they just kicked the first snowball down the avalanche zone. The rest was panic selling, whether by design or impulse.

Ask yourself these questions the next time you go off to work for the day.

If you owned a stock and went off to work, out of touch with the market, who would you rather have talking about the stock you invested in. A person who is supporting the stock, or a someone who is taking every cheap shot in the book? The touter is there to support your investment, the other is there to bring bad light on your investment. You come home from work, to find your hard earned money erroded. Your choice, who do you find more dangerous?

That is what I think about.

How about you or the others, do you feel any accountability for your actions? I'm sure you do, and I'm sure that many of the others do too. But I don't think that they understand the consequences of their actions. To have picked up a phone and asked
for clarification before making wild speculations, would have been the responsible thing to do. Airing their negative thoughts in a public investment forum is irresponible at best.

If they do, God help them, because they are lower then pond scum.

Ahh, I know. You are going to say that the touter, hypes the stock and sucks poor unsuspecting sheep into his lair. Yep, your right, that also happens. But any one with a brain should take the responsibility to do their own due diligence, and understand their investment. I think with all the information that has been created on this thread, plus a phone call, and several well spent hours going over all the due dilly pack, it is quite evident that FTEL is not a scam, and there is substance, not only this thread, but also in Franklin's future.

I didn't mean for this to get personal, nor ill spirited. I rather had hoped that it would be thought provoking. As we all have to be accountable for our own actions.

Let's try to work together, and use our intelligence, rather than our emotions, myself included.

We have a common enemy, and it's looks like a bear.
