BHP announced today that all its U.S. based copper operations will close--I guess that includes FN's NSR on the Robinson mine. Here's what FN had to say about their Robinson mine in the latest Annual Report.

"Franco-Nevada through two separate royalties has an effective 0.6% Net Smelter Return (NSR) on the Robinson copper-gold mine in Nevada operated by BHP Copper. Despite lower copper and gold prices, Franco-Nevada realized $665,000 from Robinson for calendar 1998, a slight improvement over the previous year. This reflected improved mining rates and recoveries at the project. Proven and probable reserves are adequate for another 15 years of production."
