PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 1999--TIBCO Software
Inc., the leading provider of real-time infrastructure software, today
announced that it has joined the Alliances@PeopleSoft program.
TIBCO also announced that it will participate in PeopleSoft's
Open Integration Framework initiative for enabling flexible and cost
effective integration of PeopleSoft applications with other
best-of-breed and legacy software and systems.

TIB/Adapter(TM) for PeopleSoft, a product in TIBCO's
TIB/ActiveEnterprise suite of products for enterprise application
integration, provides a bi-directional bridge between PeopleSoft
applications and other applications in the organization.
The adapter enables PeopleSoft applications to both publish
information to other systems in a TIB-enabled enterprise, and
subscribe to events of interest published by other systems.
TIB/Adapter for PeopleSoft is currently undergoing certification
testing as part of PeopleSoft's Open Integration Framework program.
TIBCO's TIB/Adapter for PeopleSoft has been installed at a number
of customer sites including NEC Electronics and MacMillan Bloedel
Packing.
NEC Electronics Selects TIB/Adapter for PeopleSoft for Order
Management System
NEC Electronics Inc., headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif.,
designs, manufactures and markets an extensive line of electronic
products including ASICs, microprocessors and microcontrollers,
graphics accelerators, digital signal processors (DSPs), memories and
components including flat panel displays and lithium-ion batteries.
NEC Electronics is using TIBCO's TIB/Adapter for PeopleSoft and
TIBCO's TIB/ActiveEnterprise to build a new supply chain management
system.
