Thoughts At Large:

As an afterthought, I've found most statements that unkindly boast a blanket insult are (in the quiet moments) not so much misdirected as self-directed. Blame here is arbitrary and really an odd way to intelligently expend energy...even if that blame is directed at the mirror. The eyes are put in the front of the head for a reason.

For all the times I've spoken with Joe Murphy I come away with the ambient feeling of an honest man with a deep sense of obligation to his shareholders, the employees of DCI and his own family. I believe it's a healthy thing to keep in mind that the brass ring for the the employees of DCI is in the stock and not their salaries. It's in Joe's interest personally, as well as CEO to his shareholders, to find the most financially viable and profitable solution for all involved.

Entrepreneurial style is usually type AAAAAAAAAAAAAA so I make no judgement there. High personality comes with gift...or curse. I'm trying to measure true height from the heart up and I'm comfortable with what I feel for Joe's words and DCI along with what my febrile little brain cogitates to the best of its ability. I'm not meaning to be preachy or proselytize this approach, but this method creates a synergy that works for me.

In spite of the dark comedy in all these "stoogish" set backs I still believe we'll come out of this unbroken as shareholders.

In any case (yours being the traditional Gucci of commentary) I'm pleased you're sharing your thoughts here. I've come to know you and trust your views over the years. You are objectively intelligent, clear and sensitive at the same time. That is a talent Steve. I suppose you can cook too??? <ggg>
