Hey Mike your getting SLOW> NEC to brief on Monday on tie with foreign firm TOKYO, June 25 (Reuters) - Japan's NEC Corp said it would hold a news conference at 11:00 a.m. (0200 GMT) on Monday about an alliance with a foreign maker in the area of next-generation networks for telecommunication carriers. The major personal computer maker refused to disclose other details. In mid-June, NEC said it would introduce solutions for corporate network and broadcasting systems. At that time, it said it was aiming for sales of 400 billion yen for its telecom network solutions in the 2000/01 business year, and an overall two to 2.5 trillion yen in network solutions sales in the 2005/06 business year.
