checkfree is on the candidate list, as are a few others
look for an announcement soon about this important area
that will be represented in the index

The announcement, are you talking about Princeton Telecom, or was it yesterday's news about the "Exchange"

How do you think these banks are going to develop this software? Could it be more accurately classifies as vaporware at this point?

I mean MSFT has been trying, in earnest since fall of '97 to get a working model to sell the the banks/billers. How in creation are the banks going to get to successfully to market before the y2k freeze? Think Sun is gonna come through as the knight in shining armour? Interesting that they snubbed msft on this one. Even IBM couldn't do it with Integrion, they had to contract ckfr.

Do you think this was just a big PR battle by the banks because they fear competition from the portals and other distribution points?

I don't believe for one minute the timing of the banks' release was mere coincidence. But rather a down right effort to sabotage ckfr's secondary, and buy more time for their own efforts, which they have proven through Integrion that they don't know how to work together.

Thanks for your time. BTW, do you think ckfr is oversold right now, or more like a fundamental correction to more realistic levels?
