Speaking of the Two Fat Ladies, Penni, are they still on television where you live? They have totally disappeared from the cable station they were on here. I suspect that anchovies melt into food if you have a basic relationship with fish which is not based on loathing them. An anchovy is the most concentrated little bit of fishy morsel there is, and I bet that for people like my daughter, a snippet of one of them in a huge pot of pasta bothers her like the pea under the mattress did the princess in that fairy tale. Thanks for the recommendation on "Elegy for Iris". I will look into it. My husband cleaned my room today because he could not stand it anymore. I did notice a dust bunny the size of a big fluffy rabbit this morning under a bench, but certainly didn't have enough time to actually sweep. Now I am feeling inadequate, but not that much. Hmmm . . . ambivalent? I am glad there is one tidy person in the family!
