Not more than taking $25 per ounce of gold in the ground (which is 10%). It is a valid method to get an early idea of how much a deposit may be worth. Certainly it cannot match calculating an NPV base on future cash flows... but we are not there yet.

I am sure you don't know that economic base metals deposits have a NPV between 4 and 8% of their total metal content.
