Short sell recommendation: Research Frontiers (REFR) REFR is a classic "zombie" stock which I have traded in and out of (only short) over the past 2 years. I don't feel like writing a lengthy diatribe...and longtime readers of this thread should be able to dissect REFR's fraud in a matter of minutes from the public info. The stock popped back on my screen over the last few days when there was a large volume surge, followed by an unusual amount of internet chatter. I checked the borrow and it is available again. Price/volume trend suggests a new distribution phase. In the past, I've tried to hit this one every time it's crossed above 8 a share (small positions - it's just a fun and nearly zero risk trade). I strongly recommend shorting the stock immediately, and continuing to add to the positon while the stock trades above 8. Look to start covering at 7 1/4 and below. Nothing fancy here - just playing inside the stock's trading range.
