Perhaps the tone of the post I was responding to set me off. I see far too much willingness to believe the rosiest of scenarios when a poster has a position in a stock. I actually think Iomega is a great little company with a lot of spirit -- I was just injecting that pessimistic side which seems to be lacking here. They've created a big market, but big markets attract big sharks with much larger R&D budgets. Anyone who has an unbalanced (over 20%) position in Iomega should lighten up and diversify.

Just spent a half hour in the Syquest thread reading messages from people who dreamt up all sorts of magical scenarios whereby a large and stupid company would inject vast amounts of cash into the company while doubling the stock price.
