ThermaCell Develops and Files Patent for Inorganic
'Glass Paint' That Meets California's New
Environmental Paint Restrictions

SARASOTA, Fla., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLL - news, VCLLW - news) has filed for a patent covering a new kind of environmentally friendly paint that uses inorganic glass to replace organic resins, creating a longer lasting finish for the same price as regular paint. Because it does not contain any volatile organic compounds,ThermaCell's ''glass paint'' meets the new, highly restrictive regulations regarding the elimination of environmentally harmful paint ingredients in states like California.

John Pidorenko, Chairman, President and CEO of ThermaCell, said ''Inorganic Hybrid Silicate'' -- the technical name for the product -- has the ability to significantly and materially expand the Company. Starting in August, he said, the Company plans to use its ''glass paint'' to aggressively expand into California, one of the largest paint and coatings markets in the country. At that time, the Company plans to launch a licensing program to enable other manufacturers to market their own brands of ''glass paint.''

Inorganic Hybrid Silicate is resistant to weathering, ultra violet rays, acid rain, fading, solvents, water, and mildew. It does not chalk, has no odor, does not create harmful vapor barriers; contains no solvents, organic binders, biocides, or mildewcides; and is available in clear and pigmented. It was developed by ThermaCell's stepped up R&D program.

ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. (http://www.thermacell.com) is a technologically enhanced manufacturer and marketer of paints, coatings and building materials. The Company manufactures conventional paints, coatings and building materials through traditional trade and retail venues. The Company also manufactures VaxCell microspheres, which provide greater insulation, protection, strength, longevity and value in paints, coatings and building materials. The Company's paint-n-stuff.com web site is one of the first e-commerce paint stores on the Internet.
