Interesting--- Think it has anything to do with Gore's precarious position? The judgment that inflation would be preferable to a "cooling down" of the economy? The fear the any indication that there may be trouble in "paradise" will eliminate the only claim to election that Gore has? Gee, could Democrats be attempting to influence Fed policy out of "political motivations"?
