I don't have a story about kitties but my Dad just called me with a story of his own that I will share with you all... Last night around 4:15 in the morning, my dad was awoke by the sound of voices and a knock at his door. He lives at a retirement community so he felt fairly safe. Well, it was the security guard saying there was a complaint against him from.... before the guard could finish a little old lady that lives kitty corner (ah ha! There are kitties in my story) came charging (as fast as 87 year olds can charge) towards my dad yelling her head off. Something about Las Vegas, teenagers and red laser lights. She "balled me out" as my dad said for 2 minutes with he and the guard just standing there. My dad laughed when he described his appearance - old robe, no shoes and hair going everywhere. Apparently, she has complained before but we aren't sure if it was about my dad. The complaint was that my dad and some teenager were shining red laser lights into her bedroom window. The San Jose Police had been called and they came up to my dad, he invited them in and after chatting awhile the said "I think we have a psychiatric problem here. Sorry to bother you sir..." My Dad! Running around at night accosting old ladies with red laser lights. He told me to destroy the evidence. God, I laughed.
