JB,

The EPS numbers I gave were not split adjusted!!!

Cut them in half!

her is another set of estimates-this time split adjusted-were published as of May 17th

on a calendar year basis

1999

.19

2000

.20

2001

.31

I am looking at these numbers with a grain of salt given the future developments that will take place in regard to the company's broadband strategy. Although earnings will be important, I am more hung up on our valuation at this time versus Excite@Home. We have a slew of announcement's likely to hit the tape over the next few months as some of that cash hoard is put to work. I figure any earnings are good because many institutional investors will seek out net companies that make money and there are only a few.

It will be interesting to watch the stock trade after some of these deals hit the tape over the summer and into the fall. I think Russell has proven himself to be a pretty good dealmaker up to this point but lets see what he can do going forward.

Maybe my focus on broadband is somewhat misplaced but again that is what I am thinking about. I was flabbergasted that the stock did not trade down like ATHM did on that Friday a couple of weeks ago when the Portland Judicial decision was disseminated. I thought the stock would of been hit like ATHM was but it hardly budged. Either the market is a bit inefficient with this stock because it it not well known or I am just an idiot...

who is long at $19 oops forgot the split again

long at $9.50
