IDX and Oracle . . . (and Novell) . . . This might be an unpopular observation, but the signs I read indicate that the Oracle alliance is at best dormant other than the very important FAA project. We keep seeing indications that IDX is withdrawing the F3 technology in favor of the IDT model. Since F3 is at the heart of the Oracle/PC connection, where does that leave the partnership? Either (1) it is over in the PC area or (2) it is being revamped on the technical level to substitute in the IDT hardware and software. My guess is (2), but qualifying the software, etc., will take time, certainly months. And (1) remains possible, as well. So I'm not going to be very fast to connect the dots through an Oracle PC connection right now.
