mark, as you probably have gathered by now, I do not "love" or "hate" stocks. People ask sometimes for my opinion, and I freely give it, because it is free, it is worth what people pay for, nothing. As for the argument about the two (sole) patents that Joseph asked me to look at, I stand by my opinion of then, "the independent claims were written sloppily" , and "whether or not the claims are sloppy has nothing to do with where the stock will be next month, a year or two years from now". As a matter of fact, "sloppy" claims, if contested could still stand if the specification was clear as to the correct implementation intended. Joseph expected me to give a "glowing report", but I just stated what I found. As I said, it was "free" and thus should be treated that way.
As for burning holes in the head, I doubt it, the only "potential" danger of a VRD is if the scan suddenly dies and the beam is frozen on one spot of the retina for too long. This danger is about equal to looking at the sun directly, and I am sure that fail safe systems are in place to cut off the beam if the drive of the scanner fail for whatever reason (making sure that the beam is dead unless the scanning mirror move, is a trivial approach and I am sure they have that in place).
If you do not like the way the Yahoo's people discuss this company, why pick on me? Do like I do, just do not read Yahoo's thread, I have nothing to do with that POS, and do not read it since more than a year ago, it took me three months to force Yahoo to remove defamatory and false statements written there by a person under my own name. I have never posted to Yahoo (and do not write defamatory posts) and intend to continue this ban policy.
