TMoney: As another threadster has pointed out, this has been discussed. BUT, from what I gather the Russell Index does a yearly "sweep" of the companies covered, and during this sweep they decide to either keep, remove, or add such companies as they feel meet(or no longer meet) their requirements. How this is actually accomplished, from what I gather, is that there is a preliminary "cut", and those that survive the cut go on to a final decision to either be included, or excluded, in the new yearly Index. This final decision is June 30th. You'll be happy to know that VLNC has made the preliminary cut(see this URL): russell.com The final decision on whether VLNC is included will occur on June 30th.
