I have an idea. Let us together attack a chart of a particular stock. We can start individually, and then compare notes. This approach will also give others who are just starting out an interesting "birds eye view" of the process which they also can participate in when they feel comfortable. Then we can wait to see what actually happens. At this point, we can do a back analysis to learn from the results. This way we may be able to refine our strategy and also learn from each other. We can also try out strategies that each of us has been wanting to try out but did not have the excuse to spend some time on it.

We can start with a criteria and scan for some samples to evaluate. The criteria can then be adjusted to give us a variety of charts to work on. In this process, we can also sort out what works for particular chart types. The secondary benefit is to learn how particular chart types can be scanned for. I also believe in intermarket analysis. We can also find out what works in this area of TA. Chart types can include different types of stock, futures, options, T-bills, the commodity markets like oil, really anything we want to try out.

We can make this up as we go once a framework is established for this discourse.

Anyone interested in this idea?? Some of the more experienced of this group can help pick out the charts to work with in order to provide the rest of us with challenges.

I think this can prove to be a very interesting and fun learning experience.
