Ron,
You will note, Japan's military is called a Security Force - they are not allowed a "military" under terms of the peace treaty of WWII. Do you really want everyone here to think you do not believe the investment of the US DOD in Japan? The cost of those few aircraft and small ships that belong to Japan represent the smallest possible of the total US DOD operation in Japan. Wake up and smell the $ Ron, those are megga bucks spent by the US in Japan!

I'm still finding the total cost of US DOD operations in Japan, last year during Budget War, a Senator quoted the numbers I gave. The total Japanese expenditure on security is only pennies on the dollar we spend to protect them.
You can also go the GAO budget for this year and note the extra cost of a conventional carrier Vs Nuke as requested by Japan.
You "cutting remarks" only cut at your total lack of knowledge concerning US DoD budget.
