No foolin. Who would think. You're extremely lucky to know that. It's like getting the "benefit" of the terminator experience without having .....to get the benefit of the terminator experience.
And speaking of hard-wiring, it's almost like that would have to be. (Your understanding of that perspective.)
I think depression can alter the brain in some "permanent" ways. That once the pathway has been linked, hooked up, it can be run down, or fallen down, or shoved down, more quickly. Again, I don't think it's so much neurons themselves as the chemicals in communication and quantity. Who and what are in the soup kitchen can change. I think this is also true of other more benign and inspiring qualities and accomplishments.
Thank goodness.
But if you're without certain basic chemicals, you're not going anywhere.
