For what it's worth I was just going over some old notes I made a while back about the Northern Breweries. A 60% interest in the Shanhaiguan Brewery was bought for approx $ 21,498,400 in Dec 94 I believe, and Noble paid $ 19,281,920 at that time. This would mean that Noble still owes $ 2,216,480 to this brewery. I don't know exactly how it was determined that Noble's interest is now 42% but hopefully it will not cost us much more than 3 million to get back our controlling interest of 60%. I for one am very dissappointed in the recent slide in Nobles share price. I also did not see Noble buy back any more of their shares in the last 3 or 4 weeks. Unless they are now using a different company to make these purchases. If the share price continues to slide I will consider taking a larger position. Has anyone heard anything? We may have to wait another few months or another 1 or 2 good quarters before a significant increase.

Regards,

Mario.
