I am sworn to secrecy. Jill said that if I ever opened my mouth again.... no matter how right I might be... I would be thrown off SI forever....

LOL...

No, not really. I can't really discuss it in detail without potentially making things worse. I don't want to do that. Suffice it to say that I did break the Terms of Use and Silicon Investor had every right to suspend me.

I love posting here at Silicon Investor. I think that by in large this is a wonderful community of well meaning investors interacting and hoping that we all make money. As an outspoken bull on a number of stocks that have failed to live up to my expectations I have become the target of numerous attacks. Rumors have been circulating that I and InvestRight are some kind of pump and dump group bent on making money by selling into everyone else's buying.

It's not true. InvestRight is largely Brenda G who I think is a wonderful person. She is not Bill Gates, nor Peter Lynch, or even Warren Buffet but she is a gifted investor. What she, and at times other people loosely associated with the InvestRight Club, have done in the past is described in this threads header. Most of the stocks, certainly not all of the stocks we have been involved in have risen, only to later fall.

Guess what? Most stocks do. I have learned the hard way that holding a bad investment can often mean holding a long time before you recoup your losses if you ever do.

Some of these stocks that I supposedly pumped and dumped have been the worst losses of my investment career. Oh sure I could have taken a profit but I was too stupid because I wanted to believe my own rhetoric to the bitter end.

So there you have it my friend. Do not believe everything you write even if you write it. Finally let me just say that Brenda G. has also helped me to learn how to recoup a lot of my losses. Our InvestRight meetings are held on a quarterly basis in Las Vegas. I don't know about Brenda but I am always open to new ideas to make myself a better investor in the future.

The next meeting is September 25th 1999. We have nothing to hide so anyone is welcome to join us. The meeting is tentatively scheduled at Caesar's Palace but it will definitely be that weekend.

Thanks, Jeff
