Doren...I hear you! My disappointment is with the strategy now under way at Apple. Their migration to an appliance for the rest of the world is under way! They seem to have forgotten the ones who brought em to the dance – the graphics community. While my company is 100% Mac, I'm in the process of transitioning to the Wintel community. I've got no other choice. A classic example of where the rest of the graphics world is, with Apple: Adobe Acrobat is releasing version 4.0 simultaneously to the Mac and PC platforms. The release for the Wintel application has more features in it than the Mac release!!!!!! It used to be the other way around. I will not cut my nose to spite my face but, I can assure you, that I'm not the only professional who can see the writing on the wall. I would advise you, as a person entering the graphics field, to keep all your options open. Good luck!
