{{{{{{{{{{{E!}}}}}}}}}}}} Hi dahlin' and all the rest of you out there in DGIV land... Finally... I have DSL!! What a difference in speed from what my old ISP could give me. This is gonna beat cable all to heck and if you're close enough to the switching station you can get speeds even higher than a T-1 at about 1/5 the cost. Me, I'm about 16K feet out, so can only get the slowest speed but that's still a lot faster than the full ISDN line I was paying for at about 1/2 the cost. And best of all, this a constant 24X7 connection... no dialing in. Just click the browser, and there it is. No sense waiting for your phone company to get to you, check out Covad.com for vendor who may service your area. And as for it's use with VoIP, now the speed is there... no more fuzzy words. Of course, I still don't have any connection at work... but such is the life of a consultant. Get paid the big bucks, but can't even surf during the day <g>. They actually expect me to work... for shame!! I see the price has gone nowhere... yet! Someone sent me a note and said we were up to bat in the bottom of the ninth... so I don't know if that means we're going to go down swinging, or hit a grand slam. Think I'll prefer to believe in the latter. Have a good day all... Chuck... finally able to check in and thinking he should ask for a commission on all new signups to DSL
