Rob - thanks for your message. I think there is a great amount of uncertainty about what will happen next week. I think if the Fed hikes only .25%, the market reaction may be positive. If the Fed hikes .5%, the market reaction may be negative. I've heard so many differing opinions on what the Fed will do and what the reaction will be that I think it is really difficult to predict what will happen.

Regarding technical analysis - I must admit to not being knowledgeable of the various aspects of TA, and as such cannot comment on the points you raise.
