Not wrong about 5-9's uptime ... that's what we were discussing. I suppose you have a problem finishing an argument that you tend to start with a heated one liner and then fade into another rant session.

Telco's have traditionally been HPUX shops and they appear to be migrating to Sun because of HP dropping the UNIX ball not because of Solaris "5-9's" B.S.. Your probably is you don't understand what 5-9's uptime really means and how impossible for a Server UNIX system to achieve this.
