All,

I have left a couple messages at UTEK regarding questions about the V2000.

So being impatient, I called PLAB today and talked to Mike McCarthy in IR. He said UTEK is putting together the V2500, a .18 UBeam machine for testing at PLAB. I assume the next stop will be a UBeam machine for .13 which would be great, and so on. Now, if they could only sell one.

The most obvious question that comes to mind is why would UTEK move on to a .18 machine if they could not make the .25 version work? And this begs the question: Did the .25 work? And if so, to what degree did it work?

I'm missing something here in the sequence of the Ubeam development.
Perhaps the issue is secrecy. Is it possible that they have indeed produced a successful V2000 at .25, but now want to get a start on one that works at .18? I have no idea. But why continue at .18 if .25 is still questionable.

Maybe someone can help me here.
