I think my point got missed - what I was trying to convey was they knew about the variance in the pits way back when, yet we were all led to believe that there was no significant variance. Yes, I know they only reported the average of the two pits, but with such a vast difference in the two pits they should NOT have been saying things about the geology with words like "consistent" and "slam dunk". RT was in the room when this was spoken and he could have easily corrected Mr. Stewart. I think this may be partially responsible for creating the expectation for Pit 4 results and the subsequent disappointment. Why would they say the deposit is consistent when the evidence they have indicates otherwise ?
