As far as diamonds are concerned Quebec must be one of the least explored areas in Canada. Dont forget that Diamond Fields were originally looking for diamonds in Quebec and simply stumbled over Voisey's Bay. De Beers have been flying huge amounts of samples out of LG2 (Le Grande) for some time now. It would be reasonable to assume that they have found a new kimberlite field. As we know Ashton is to the east. Just across James Bay to the west, in Ontario De Beers are currently bulk sampling a kimberlite along the Atawapiskat river. This puts all three areas along an east-west trend, very interesting.
