I don't know enough law or details of the case to comment. However, from earlier publications I've read to date, pc133 from via is already dead. PC133 offerings from via have already been withdrawn and are flat dead. This is the information that was previously posted but, it's amazing how these things come back as if to have nine lives!!

standard chipset with a graphics component from Trident Microsystems. Under its
arrangement with Trident, Via markets the chipset to desktop customers, while Trident
markets it to notebook makers. The legal problem: Because Trident does not have an Intel
license, Trident's marketing efforts constitute a violation of the agreement, McCarron said."
