Hi Bob, O-T: Internet Stock? Have you looked at INTR? One thing does remind me of the BANY hoopla? That is the UBUY.com spinoff. This came yesterday. biz.yahoo.com The 25% UBUY interest looking to raise $75 million, puts a total market value at the IPO price on UBUY of $300 million (4X$75000000). My guess is there are 7 million shares out for INTR, closed at $12 1/2. That's a total market cap of $87.5 million or a $212.5 million shortfall. Add in what the other INTR businesses are worth, like WebClassified, Visa/MC, and others...well, you get the idea; it's the old saw...pieces are worth more than the whole...to a point. And then there's the NASDAQ listing possibilities. FWIW, the INTR and UBUY threads I started are dead, but the stock sure isn't.
