Well put, but:

1. Now, now...W's wild oats were sewn when he was much younger. I don't believe there's any reason to think he's an adulterer.

2. Gore is not a middle of the roader. He's an extreme liberal. He's just so bland, personality-wise, that he seems middle of the road.
