<<LU is like owning a communications mutual fund.>> Its actually much better than a fund. No management fees, no paying taxes on capital gains distributions (even when NAV values DROP!), no diversification to the point of underperforming the market. What LU is really like is a "communications Berkshire Hathaway". I get chills up and down my spine just saying that. Thanks to some of the bright people on this ASND board, I bought in fall 1997 and have done extremely well. While it is sad when the reality of ASND disappearing hits home, I am now a long-term LU shareholder (at a very low cost basis) and very excited for the future.
