from pc week. dell confirmation... zdnet.com That's good news for PC makers planning major product refreshes this fall based on Intel Corp.'s forthcoming 600MHz Pentium III processor and 820 chip set. Dell, for example, will announce a dual-processor-capable workstation using the 820 chip set. The workstation will sport a new chassis with greater cooling capacity along with the ability to offer up to 108GB of storage from four hard drives. The workstation will also offer 64-bit Peripheral Component Interconnect and next-generation SCSI. In dual-processor mode, the workstation will cost $3,000 to $4,000, Dell officials said.
