Dale,
FWIW, I agree that Liz is well versed in this field and has a lot to offer. She is clearly experienced and has an in-depth knowledge of the biz. I told her that is a private post several months ago. However she needs to lose the edge and get rid of the anti-male bias.
EG.,
"Jeez, and here I thought I was using lingo that the boys, would understand ....... post "
" ..... What sense of humour? Most men I know tell me that women should be obscene and not heard. "
"You boys, should read more financial statements, especially of the beloved St Jude."
So - what's this "boys" thing all about? Why is is necessary to couch her comments, using these terms.
These are just a few examples ..... over the many months I have followed her posts, there have been others.
In addition, as Jeff has pointed out, some of her statements are a little too broad sweeping with inaccuracies (perhaps I should rephrase that :) a trait she clearly despises and is very quick to call others on.
Finally - she would likely garner a much more receptive audience; there would be much less confrontation, and more importantly, a dialogue could ensue, that would encourage an intelligent and mutually worthwhile exchange of knowledge and ideas - if she dropped some of the baggage she seems to be bring to this board and took the edge off her tone.
This is a biz we are all, always learning about - best we treat one another with respect and dignity, so as few of us as possible lose our butts in this game (long or short) .... that's what I hope SI is all about.
We are all on the side of making money - Liz's input, as part of that process, is indeed important.
Best to you,
