Error code 12 is an app-open problem

Thanks Bob..good to know that. I tried rebuild.exe again this am and it ran without a hitch this time and I didn't shut down overnite. This time all Qp2 components were closed though, so you are correct about the open app error code 12.

But my greater problem with the downloader app error remains after clearing the Incoming folder and running rebuild.exe successfully now.

I loaded MSWIN onto my backup NT on another drive and created a MS Data folder, as I did on my primary NT install. The QP Downloader worked ok on this install with an empty MsData folder. Next step is to put some symbols in there and try to run the downloader again to see if the app error happens at this next level of complexity.

Will have to wait til I get back from a wedding this afternoon, though...
