it seems so long ago that I was trying to explain to friends, family and husband why I chose to hold onto the stock that had seen so much appreciation since my purchase at $9 (split adjusted)

It is hard to explain to friends and family, I've just about given up. It seems that some get it and some never will. As soon as I stepped foot in SI I knew I was home. I've never felt that way about any other place on the web. It's a vision thing. About ten years ago my husband and I bought a beat up old house as an investment. We saw the potential. We could use a tour of that house in its dilapidated state to "test" our friends and family to see if they had any "vision". Some of them just looked horrified and others got it right away. Of course, after all the work was finished, they all saw what we saw.
Trust me, everyone will be congratulating you for having the where-with-all to be in this stock....because eventually it will not require "vision" to see the worth. The "work" will be done and the worth will be in plain view where anyone can see it.
