Yes, but remember, there is an ATHM clone in Europe called Chello (http://www.chello.com). It has the same aspirations as ATHM. Its owned by UPCOY, of which 8% MSFT yields rights. Kinda like MSFT's situation with RoadRunner here in the states.

From the looks of things (recent appointments of certain positions: news.excite.com ), Chello seems to be getting ready to IPO. There has been talk that Chello will use the same strategy as ATHM, in that European cable companies will have major stakes in Chello as incentive for its success.
